WORKSHOP

Today we were asked to bring objects in for a casting workshop. Although I didn't fully understand and thought we were making cast of objects not imprints so my objects wasn't really appropriate :/. Although this did give me a chance to experiment with the different materials and find processes to engage with.

I was looking at messing around with plaster, although the only 'successful' piece I got was from using the gloves to create a hand cast 'need a hand'. Although this was more of an experiment with the material rather than the outcome. 

Wax was more of a material which I found a good connection with. I looked at created natural forms by pouring the wax into the water.  When the pot was a small pot, it constrained the wax and had a pressured effect. Although I wasn't too sure on the colouring of the wax. I will have to try out different pieces.
