Having an aspect of suffering for my own work and experiencing the process to a different level than my other work, as I've never really worked in film before. This almost has a beauty rictual implication - especially as it actually made my skin feel soft. I was looking into developing the idea of 'suffering for beauty', looking into different myths there are about processes which supposedly enhance our appearance.
Having the video in black and white does make it a little difficult to tell that they are actually eggs. Although in the colour version it seemed a little artificial, also I kind of like the fact its slightly obscured
